Newsletter Policy

The Newsletter Policy was updated on May 25, 2018.

The Sodini Bijoux Srlu newsletter, edited by the internal staff, is an excellent tool that will keep you constantly updated on all the services offered.

To use this automatic and free service via email, we use the so-called Single Opt-in procedure.

That is, we will send you the newsletter by email only and exclusively when you decide (by checking the box in the footer) to activate the service.

If you subsequently no longer wish to receive newsletters or other types of communications for advertising or information purposes, you will have the right to revoke your authorization at any time.

In each email you will find the deactivation link.

Information on the processing of personal data

This information is provided pursuant to Article 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 “General Data Protection Regulation” of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, which guarantees that the processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the rights and fundamental freedoms, with particular reference to privacy and personal identity.

Your personal data are processed to the extent permitted or required by law, with the aid of electronic or automated systems, to execute your specific request.

The lawfulness of this processing, necessary and essential to execute your specific request, derives from the art. 6 (1) b) EU Reg. 2016/679.

The newsletter is sent via email to those who explicitly request it, filling out the form on the site and authorizing Sodini Bijoux Srlu to process their personal data.

The provision of data is optional.

Refusal to provide data will make it impossible to obtain the newsletter service.

Purpose of the processing

Subject to your consent and until you object, the personal data provided by you will be processed in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness pursuant to art. 6 EU Reg. 2016/679, for the sole purpose of sending the newsletter and will not be communicated to third parties, thus giving you the opportunity to always stay updated on our initiatives and services.

Storage Times

Your personal data will be processed and stored in full compliance with the principles of necessity, data minimization and limitation of the retention period, through the adoption of technical and organizational measures appropriate to the level of risk of the processing and for a period of time not exceeding for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed. At the end of the retention period, the personal data will be deleted or appropriate measures will be taken to anonymize them in accordance with applicable legislation.

Methods for processing data

The data collected are processed with IT tools.

Suitable security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

The Data Controller

The Data Controller of the data collected is SODINI BIJOUX SRLU, VAT number 01010690467, with registered office and operational headquarters in Via Dei Bocchi N°108 in Lammari (Lu).

The data processing connected to the newsletter service takes place at the aforementioned office and is handled by dedicated personnel.

Data Controller

The Data Controller has appointed Mr. Federico Sodini, domiciled for his duties at the headquarters, as the person in charge of replying to the interested party.

If necessary, for activities related to the maintenance of the technological part of the site, the data connected to the newsletter service may be processed by subjects in charge of maintenance previously appointed as data controllers pursuant to Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Rights of interested parties

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you can exercise the following rights, recognized to you by EU Reg. 2016/679 with reference to the articles. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679:

- right of access: you have the right to obtain confirmation from SODINI BIJOUX SRLU whether your personal data is being processed and, if necessary, to request access to such data. The information relating to access includes, among other things: the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data processed, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been disclosed. You have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data being processed. For additional copies, SODINI BIJOUX SRLU may charge you the administrative costs incurred for processing;

- right to rectification and integration of any incomplete personal data: you have the right to obtain the rectification of incorrect personal data. Depending on the purposes of the processing, you have the right to have your personal data completed, including by providing subsequent declarations;

- right to cancellation (right to be forgotten): you have the right to request the cancellation of your personal data if there is no longer a legal need for further conservation;

- right to request a limitation of the processing of your personal data: you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited. In this case, your data may continue to be stored by us, they may be processed under limited conditions;

- right to portability of the data you have provided to us: you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device, without prejudice to paragraphs 3 and 4 of the art. 20 of EU Reg. 2016/679, and has the right to transmit such personal data to another subject without any obstacle on our part.

- right to object: you have the right to object, based on your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data by us and can request that the data no longer be processed by SODINI BIJOUX SRLU. If you have the right to object to the processing and decide to exercise it, your personal data will no longer be processed for the purposes indicated. The exercise of this right does not imply any cost. The right to object is not effective if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the conclusion or execution of a contract.

Changes to the newsletters policy

The owner reserves the right to modify, update, add or remove parts of this newsletter policy at its discretion and at any time. The interested person is required to periodically check for any changes. In order to facilitate this verification, it will contain an indication of the update date. The use of the newsletters, after the publication of the changes, will constitute acceptance of the same.
